Definition Of Anemia

A condition in which the blood doesn’t have enough healthy red blood cells.
Anaemia results from a lack of red blood cells or dysfunctional red blood cells in the body. This leads to reduced oxygen flow to the body’s organs.
Symptoms may include fatigue, skin pallor, shortness of breath, light-headedness, dizziness or a fast heartbeat.
Treatment depends on the underlying diagnosis. Iron supplements can be used for iron deficiency. Vitamin B supplements may be used for low vitamin levels. Blood transfusions can be used for blood loss. Medication to induce blood formation may be used if the body’s blood production is reduced.
Anemia is a condition in which you lack enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to your body’s tissues. Having anemia, also referred to as low hemoglobin, can make you feel tired and weak. There are many forms of anemia, each with its own cause.

With the help of hemoglobin, the body red blood cells transport oxygen which provides energy to every cell in the body, if hemoglobin is deficient or the red blood cell are few, enough oxygens will not reach the cells, this will make the body to become weak. the person will experience heart palpitations and breathlessness even in little exercise.

Types Of Anemia.

  1. Hemolytic Anemia: This is another type of anemia, the red blood cells are prematurely destroyed. The symptoms of this type of anemia are the same a as above but the skin and the white of the eyes become tinged yellow and the upper left abdomen becomes painful as a result of enlarged spleen which attempt to cope with the numbers of red blood cells.
  2. Absorption and intake of Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is important or the building and development of red blood cells. A lack if vitamin B12 causes stomach ache, loss of appetite, restlessness and burning sensation in the tongue.

How to Treat Anemia

In treating anemia vitamin Vitamin and Mineral are required for the production of hemoglobin and red blood cells, but iron is the most important taken with calcium, zinc, vitamin E, Folic acid and vitamin B complex. These should be taken through supplementations.

  1. Squeeze dark green pumpkin leaves in water, add one spoonful of natural honey in each glass. To be taken on glass two times daily, this must followed with a meal containing green vegetables.
  2. Dandelion, water-cress and stinging nettle and they are rich in iron, vitamins and minerals for building blood cells. make one cup of tea 2 times daily.
  3. Blessed thistle, milk thistle, juniper berries, black currant and raspberry leaves are very good in building up the blood. take alone or in combination. make herbal tea one cup 2 times daily
