Job Title: HEAD OF BUSINESS TECHNOLOGY
No. of Positions: One 1
Duty station: Head Office
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

ROLE PURPOSE

  • Oversee the Business Technology (BT) function and projects, in line with the Bank’s BT strategy, to ensure robust systems and IT infrastructure
  • Delivery of production technology to the Bank and supporting all technology solutions and assuring the stability and health of the technology services to enhance service delivery and ultimately customer experience.
  • Advise on technology strategy, technology security, and standards, technology architecture, Core Banking Systems, and Infrastructure management, as well as implementation and maintenance of these systems in a client-centric manner.

Job Title: HEAD OF COMPLIANCE
No. of Positions:  One (1)
Duty Station: Head Office
Reports to: Head Office Chief Legal & Compliance Officer /Company Secretary

ROLE PURPOSE

  • Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, and managing compliance risk in line with written laws, Bank of Uganda
  • Regulations and internal policies and procedures and ensure that the bank is insulated against the risks of legal, regulatory sanctions, financial losses, and loss of reputation amidst meeting the expectations of all key business stakeholders. The Jobholder shall also act as the Bank’s Money Laundering Control Officer.

Job Title: MANAGER HR SHARED SERVICES
No. of Positions: One 1
Duty station: Head Office
Reports to: Head Office Chief Human Resources Officer

ROLE PURPOSE

  • The Manager HR Shared Services will be responsible for operationally and systematically supporting the activities within the PBU’s employee lifecycle.
  • The duties will include employee-related transactions, documenting processes, implementing new company policies and maintaining internal HR systems, and identifying and recommending opportunities to improve processes for scale & automation.
  • This role will also serve as the bank team’s subject matter expert on HR systems ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and successful delivery of HR-related programs throughout the year.
